BOTSWANA

Botswana is a landlocked country north of South Africa that has been shaped by its rich geological history. Most of the country falls within the Kalahari Desert biome, characterized by dusty, dry, flat landscapes that provide vast open views of starlit night skies. The convergence of fault lines in the northwestern corner of the country has shaped one of the most unique landmarks in the world, the Okavango Delta. Rainwater from the Angolan highlands travels over 750 miles to spill into a vast desert, creating a lush oasis of floodplains and savannas, home to amazing wildlife, birdlife, and remote safari camps.

Botswana’s remote and pristine destinations offer an intimate and incredible safari experience. Enjoy the beauty of Botswana as you float in a dugout canoe in the Okavango Delta, take a quad bike adventure across the Makgadikgadi Pan, explore the wide open channels and rivers of the Chobe and Linyanti ecosystems, and admire the mesmerizing vistas in the Tuli Region. The country’s beautiful and diverse landscapes, amazing history, rich heritage, and hospitable people make it one of the most distinctive countries in Africa.
