TANZANIA

Tanzania is an East African country that stretches from Kenya’s southern border down to Mozambique. This diverse land is home to Mount Kilimanjaro, the largest protected area in Africa, and a wildly beautiful coastline. Natural events take center stage in Tanzania’s vast wilderness areas that remain virtually untouched. Along with Kenya, Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park shares one of the Seven Wonders of the World -- the great migration. Each year, over two million wildebeest, zebra, and other antelope migrate through this massive ecosystem in search of fresh grazing. In addition to the Serengeti, Tanzania is home to a large collection of unique and wild parks, where you can search for endangered chimpanzees, explore the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater, and fly camp under a blanket of stars. Amazing beach getaways look out onto the warm blue waters of the Indian Ocean along Tanzania’s coastline and tropical islands. Many of these islands are close to renowned diving and snorkeling spots, and mainland beaches invite you to spend your day under the shade of a palm-leafed cabana. With so many diverse and exciting places to visit, Tanzania offers an endless list of adventures and safari options to cater to any safari budget.
