UGANDA

Uganda is a landlocked country, sharing two of its borders and Lake Victoria with Kenya and Tanzania. Its varied habitats include towering mountains, dense rainforests, open plains, and many large lakes. Uganda is a special safari destination that supports a tremendous biodiversity within its wild and varied landscapes. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bwindi National Park is home to the world’s greatest concentration of primates. Here you can trek and spend time with the elusive, magnificent mountain gorilla in its natural habitat. In Mgahinga Gorilla National Park you can trek in search of the equally rare African golden monkey. You can see the unique tree-climbing lions and track chimpanzees in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Uganda boasts an incredible population of over 1,000 different bird species, with 350 species in Bwindi National Park alone. Its equatorial climate creates excellent traveling temperatures, year round.
