WALKING
Led by a highly trained and licensed guide, embark on a walking adventure through the wilds of the African bush. Sights, sounds, and smells will become more apparent as you develop an acute awareness of your surroundings. Accommodation is typically in a walk-in, en-suite canvas tent. Zambia boasts of some of Africa’s best walking safaris led by some of the top guides in the industry. A walking adventure can be combined with a typical safari or a beach getaway, depending upon the amount of adventure and rest that suits you best.

PRIMATE
Imagine following in the footsteps of our earth’s endangered mountain gorillas and spending time with a family on the forest floor. It is sure to be a humbling and life changing experience. Led by expert trackers, you will trek through the misty, mountainous rainforest in search of wild and free primates. Mountain Gorilla trekking is offered in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda or in Bwindi National Park in Uganda. Chimpanzee treks are offered in Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania where chimpanzees live wild and free. It is best to book primate safaris more in advance than other safaris, as securing permits depends on availability.

GREAT MIGRATION
The Great Migration is one of the most exciting, awe-inspiring Seven Wonders of the World. Nowhere is there a movement of animals as immense as the wildebeest migration. Each year, over two million animals migrate across the grasslands of East Africa -- from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya – in a pattern that is affected by rainfall and food supply. There is a combination of permanent lodges and mobile-tented camps available to cater to everyone’s traveling preferences. Idyllic lodges and camps are located in prime locations along age-old migration paths, and mobile camps move with the migration to provide up-close access to the migratory herds.
